Since the 111 was a dead stop with holiday traffic we decided to get off the freeway and over the mountain. Not knowing what we would find.....
In California when it snows they have a mandatory chain rule. Well me being from the East Coast naturally we ignored the signs and kept on trucking up the mountain. When we reached the top of the mountain all we found was a dusting. It was not even enough to delay school in Jim Thorpe, PA....
